TRIVENI is a new organisation dedicated to supporting and promoting innovative collaborations between renowned and emerging artists in an intercultural context. 

Established in 2009 in Kerala, South India, TRIVENI is working closely with artists in Australia and Europe to bring a range of new projects to fruition.

The 2010 resident artists at TRIVENI are “Nada Laya”- an innovative collective based in Kerala, South India featuring acclaimed musicians from India, Australia and England. Specializing in Carnatic (South Indian Classical) music the ensemble also draws influence from jazz, western classical and electroacoustic music traditions. 

The debut album from Nada Laya has been released exclusively on TRIVENI in 2009 with an international release scheduled for 2010. 

TRIVENI is also active in facilitating educational opportunities and events that build a stronger dialogue between artists working in intercultural projects.
